Ornament Wreath

Do you remember my ornament wreath last year??? Remember how I bought all the bulbs from the dollar store and just hot glued the tops on and strung them on a wire hanger?
So pretty.
Remember when I dropped it and all the bulbs popped off??
grrrr...

I pulled out my Christmas boxes a few days ago and guess what I found...

So sad.

Where did I put that glue gun?

  1. The same thing happened to mine! I spent all of last remaking it. :(

  2. You should just tie the ornaments to the wreath using fishing line or string or yarn or something...that would really frustrate me! It's SO CUTE, though!

  3. Oh no! Gosh, they do look pretty when they are done though. Good luck!

  4. Every time I tried to add more to the hanger the tops would break so I glued them to my wreath and added a few plastic snowflakes from the dollar store. They turned out so pretty.

  5. I made one last year because I loved yours so much. Mine just bugged me the whole season. I just didn't like it very much. So this year, I took it all apart and used the ornaments elsewhere. I still love ornament wreaths so much but I just am not in the mood to try another one just yet. haha

  6. Oh no! Mine did not store well at all. The ornaments are still on, but it's all lopsided and out of shape. I need to redo it, but want to find a more permanent way.

  7. One thing that this wreath uh inspired (?) me to do was to hang my all of my wreathes on a wire hanger (I had to bend some). Then I just hang them in our closet. Super easy to store. And this one already is set with a hanger! If you don't have a big closet you can always add a bar in your basement or something. They are pretty inexpensive. Bonus: my fluffy wreathes aren't flat anymore!

  8. So sad! I was inspired by you to create one last year. Hung it on my pantry door and two nights ago it took a little fall and busted into a million little pieces. It went into the garbage. Not sure I have the heart to make another one!
