CHALLENGE: Create a centerpiece for 10 tables with a budget of $25 for the "Relief Society Birthday Dinner".
This is what we came up with...
I made the tissue paper pom poms and then cut up some dowels and painted them green.
We bought the clay pots at the dollar store and spray painted them white.
Only thing left to do is add some moss... and some ribbon??? Maybe not.
Only nine more to go. :)

How cute are these! I think some moss and ribbon would definitely complete the look. Would you be willing to do a tutorial on how you made the tissue pom pom?

Green tissue paper might be cheaper than moss
this is so funny. I just had this idea last night as I was planning our rs b-day party!! it is fun to see what it will look like somewhere else rather than just in my head!!!
Isn't it *fun* to come up with table decorations for RS dinners/etc. I did table decorations for the last Stake women's conference and I used the snowball tutorial from House of Smith. They looked so awesome!! I'll have to tuck your idea for the next time we have a dinner/lunch.

Years ago when I was Homemaking leader, I asked 12 ladies to bring special items to decorate our big round tables for a luncHeon. They brought their own china, silverware, napkins, glassware and small things like photos, candle holder collections, vintage laces and much more. It was wonderful and did not use any of our Relief Society budget. The ladies loved it!
