Orange you glad it's Summer Time?!

I have been on a crafting hiatus.
Low and behold, I set up the card table in front of the TV, popped in a movie and I'm back.
I have made headbands and bows in the past but loved the idea of making the flowers fuller by combining several flower to make one that I got from Homemade by Jill. I attached mine to a ribbon covered alagator clip (with hot glue) for now but I love the idea of putting them right on an elastic headband [once she has hair].

These darling t-shirt pants from Lil Blue Boo immediatly made it into my 'crafts to do' folder.
Check out her tutorial.. SEW EASY, SEW CHEAP, SEW COMFY!
Still trying to figure out what size t-shirt I will need to make me a pair:)
Time to get cracking on the 92 other items in my ideas folder!

Oh, Avery looks soooo cute. I always love the huge flowers and those pants are seriously so cute Melis, did you add the hearts or were they on the t-shirt already?

I added the fabric on the inside, hand sewed the hearts on then cut the t-shirt fabric away.. we will see how it does once I wash them :I

Oh they turned out SO cute!! Use fray check on the reverse applique hearts if they start to fray! Thanks for linking my blog here! I LOVE the flower headband....I wish my daughter would wear something like that....it is a struggle even to get a rubber band in her hand sometimes.

I'm right there with you on the t-shirt size we need to our own pants ;) I'm 5'11' so it would have to be pretty big!

Have a great day and thanks for sharing the CUTE pic!
